Dawn Simple Pleasures

Dawn has released a new line of dish soaps called Simple Pleasures, ones with air fresheners built right in. It's not too gimmicky; just a little vent built into the bottom of the soap container that holds tiny little scented pellets. Give it a quick shake to release more scent.

I'm a fan of Dawn anyway. It beats any store brand hands down in terms of how much I use per sinkful of dishes.

The picture shown here is the blue smurf scent, but I have the lemon and tangerine scent in my kitchen. The smell is very polite, but the color harkens back to the good old days of kitchen cleaning where the only color of dish soap was that deathly yellow color. Isn't it funny how Listerine was the same way? Coincidence?

Simple Pleasures' freshener isn't powerful enough to overcome a roomful of odors, but it does leave the sink area slightly fresh, which is good if you aren't the most religious of dish washers. All I'm waiting for now is the soap to come in a pump container. The act of grabbing the container can leave the sides kind of gooey.
