Nuggets 8/4/06

The Carnival of the Recipes was hosted here this week. It was such a great event. There weren't many comments, but fun nonetheless. It even got picked up by Instapundit.com. Pretty cool. If you are a blogger and wish to participate, check out the Blog Carnival page for more information.

I just joined the BBQ-Brethren Forums. Being an aspiring BBQ Master, I figured it would do some good to associate with the masters themselves. It's a really nice forum, very well organized and moderated. Plus, the folks there are very nice. Great stuff.

The lists of kitchen and baking must-have items is getting quite a bit of attention. My original list was posted a week or so ago, and then Ali sent in her list of baker's items. Coming soon, I'll be posting the baker's edition as written by the bake mistress herself ... My Wife.
