Carnival of the Grill Mentioned by Food and Wine (sort of)

FoodandWine.com has mentioned Carnival of the Gril by way of Something So Clever. OK, the link actually goes to Alicat, but I'll take all the bleed off traffic I can get. Don't know the whole story, but seems Ali and the FAW people had a little falling out a while back. However, it seems that FAW might be making up with her by linking to her Beer and Brats post for Carnival of the Grill.

Speaking of carnivals, the Carnival of the Recipes will be hosted here on Men in Aprons this weekend. I've been participating in this carnival for months now, and it is my turn to host. Can you believe I've been in line to host for 2 months? Yep. It's that popular. So go to the carnival homepage and post your recipe entry for this weekend.

And don't forget to submit your entry for the Carnival of the Gril. It's 3 weeks away.

I am easily confused by the Carnival of Recipes. Do they always have themes? What about the one you are hosting this weekend? Do I have to post my submission during the weekend or can I post it early? Gah!

well congrats, adam! that's exciting...and i know you will be the perfect host for this event. If i can get off my ass to get some charcoal before the due date, i am definately going to participate.

You can submit your post to carnival of the recipes at any time during the week before its deadline. I believe the weekly deadline for COTR is noon on Saturdays.

Oh, thanks for reminding me! I have so many ideas for what I want to make for the Carnival.

Also, congrats on the link!
