Welcome to Men in Aprons
FoodCandy, the social networking site for foodies is featuring Men in Aprons right now as a featured foodie. If you haven't checked it out, go see foodcandy.com. You don't have to have a websit to join. You just have to be a foodie.
If you are joining us from FoodCandy.com, I'd like to welcome you to Men in Aprons. If this is your first time here, I would hope that it won't be your last. Let me take a moment to show you around and tell you what I'm all about.
My name is Adam, and I am the founder and publisher of Men in Aprons. MIA has become a little bit more than a blog, since its inception in December 2004. It is a place for men and women alike to read some great recipes, join in the food conversation, get some handy helpful tips and tricks, and read good reviews of kitchen products. I also have a podcast called the Men in Aprons Show that I do with my wife on a weekly basis. You can subscribe to it from most podcatchers and iTunes as well.
My philosophy is simple: To provide real-world experiences and knowledge about cooking and the kitchen. In doing so, I promise to keep instruction and opinions as simple and easy to understand as possible, as well as make everything relevant to the home cook.
If you like what you've read, you may want to check out some other publications I write for. I write hot sauce reviews at Hot Sauce Blog. I write weekly articles for Cooking for US, and regularly submit to the Very Good Things Weblog.
