Has Emeril Lagasse Lost His Edge?

Thanks everyone, for voting in the first Men In Aprons poll, "Has Emeril Lagasse Lost his edge?" Seems that 70 percent of the voters think so.

It's been almost 10 years since Emeril Live debuted on the Food Network. Back then, it was the flagship program for the very young Food Network. It was Emeril, Two Fat Ladies, and Mario Batali leading the lineup of food programs back then. But now, after nearly 10 years of audience cheering for that 37th piece of garlic or the 800th time Emeril has said 'bam." in the last 5 minutes, it's just old and played out.
