Deb's Delectables: Chocolates from Heaven

Step aside Russell Stover. Godiva .... hit the road. There's a new cat in town and her name is Deb. Don't let the name fool you. If you have ever let a designer chocolate melt in your mouth, wait until you try one of Deb's Delectables hand made chocolates. They are guaranteed to put a smile on your mouth and hundreds of tiny wrappers on your floor. These tiny bundles of deliciousness will make your eyes roll back in your head, forcing your mouth to exclaim, "Oh my god!"

Just one smell of vanilla or butter cream-wrapped chocolate wafting up from a Love Box will send you into chocolate outer space. Just ask my wife. We're still trying to bring her down.

When we ripped into the sample box, we immediately were struck by the artistry of the chocolates. Not only were many of them in very beautiful decorative shapes, there were painted and dyed chocolates and butterflies with multi-colored wings. I almost felt bad eating these knowing that the time it takes me to eat one was a fraction of the amount of time spent decorating. And then I ate them and completely forgot my worries.

Deb's delectables has many different kinds of chocolates, and eating them was a really fun time. Unlike Russell Stover, who provides a key to their varities, Deb's was unmarked, leaving only the exterior to clue is in to the goodness inside. But each one was a delight, and not once were we displeased with the contents. It was quite comical.

Her: What's in that one?
Me: I don't know, let me bite it. ...... Mmmm, nougaty!
Me: So what's that rose-shaped chocolate. I think it'll be pink nougat inside.
Her: ~BITE~ Ummm, Mmmmmm .... chocolate goo (unintelligable yummy sounds)

Very fun and very delicious. Deb's offers many different gift boxes full of chocolates ranging from a small 12-piece box to the Way-too-big-for-one-person-alone Box (100 pieces). She even offers chocolate gift boxes for Bar and Bat Mitsvahs. There are white, milk, and dark chocolates with all kinds of filling, not to mention dipped fruit and cookies. The toffee crunchies are to die for.

Guys, if you want to impress your lady or maybe get something special for your Mom, go with Deb's delectables. Here's what my wife had to say about this subject:

If I were dating right now and somone bought me one of Deb's boxes, I would know that this person put some thought into the gift. That's major brownie points. Anyone can go buy a box of chocolates from the grocery store, but that's so high school. This box says quality and sophistication.

Quality, sophistication, artistry, and delicious, smooth chocolate. That says it all about Deb's Delectables. Check out Deb's Delectables on the web and order some for your loved ones.

Thanks, Adam, for such a rave! I really appreciate it. If I change my tag line to "tiny bundles of deliciousness," I'll give you credit. ;D

Oh, and the mystery rose filling was cappuccino.

On the topic of (ehem) "manly" pursuits, we love the results of our Le Creuset grill pans so much, John's going to get rid of the charcoal grill outside. They do an excellent job on our salmon and his pork chops.

Have you used one?

adam

Sadly I do not own any Le Creuset, though my dream is to have one of the Le Creuset dutch ovens. I need me an enameled pot like that.

Cappucino, huh? OK ... yeah, that was it. It sounds right. But the point was really that they were all good.

Oh and my royalty fees for the new tagline will just be more chocolate. :)

Donna

Oh, Adam, if your dad was to get a small box of dark chocolates for Fathers Day. . .well, I can't even imagine the LUUUUUUV!
