Kuhn Rikon Can Opener
You may be married to your electric can opener, but listen to me for a moment and I will tell you the tale of a great alternative. Yes, it may be a manual can opener, but it is far superior to your old Black and Decker can opener.
Most can openers, both manual and electric models use a blade to cut down into the top of the can. The result is a sharp, jagged edge that can cut your figers as you handle the can and lid. Also, you get messy uncooked food on your hand when you remove the lid from the magnet.
