Homemade Olive Oil Dispenser

make your own olive oil bottleIf you're like me, then you like to have a container of extra virgin olive oil right by the stove. Here's a cool thing you can do at home to make your own olive oil dispenser. For a long time, I wanted one of those fancy tin can olive oil dispensers with the really long spout. But you don't need that, unless you really like to go extra fancy in your kitchen. I tend to like it really practical in my workspace. (click the thumbnail to see me refilling my own bottle of olive oil).

Here's what you do:

1. Go to the pantry and finish off your favorite bottle of liquor. I used a small bottle of Herradura Silver Tequila.

2. Clean it out and remove the labels.

3. Using a funnel, fill it with your favorite olive oil.

4. Cap it with a liquor pour spot .... now you're done.
