Men in Aprons

I have written before about getting your kids into the kitchen, but I just had to share this picture with the world. That's me, the bearded one on left. The little tyke with the Bob the Builder Apron on is my oldest son, Aidan (3). TheWife found an iron on patch and a blank kid's apron. Two minutes of work and it was the greatest gift you could have ever given him. From then on, he won't help with the cooking unless he has his apron on, and he makes us put ours on if we forget.

If you have kids or are planning on having kids, do yourselves and them a favor. Get them in the kitchen and interested in cooking. You'll teach them so much about math, chemistry, physics, cooperation, and most importantly, you'll help them buck gender stereotypes.
