Iced Coffee: No More Corporate B.S.There is a certain American-based coffee company that I am a every-so-often patron of. This coffee company, I'll not say it's name ... it rhymes with Glar-mucks ... makes a certain coffee-based cold beverage, I'll not say it's name, but it rhymes with Frappa-bingo. Now, I'm talking about the kind that Glar-mucks bottles and sells all over the country in grocery stores and quickie-marts, not the slushy kind they slop in the local retail stores. I am a very regular drinker of the bottled kind ... the mocha flavor, and every since they started selling it, I had decided that I can't go to the gas station and not pick one up. Until now. Yesterday afternoon, upon reaching a very unfortunate downturn in my awake levels, I felt like brewing up some coffee, but I didn't want a hot beverage. So I hit the Internet to find a recipe for iced coffee. Lo and behold, the recipe: Ingredients Mix both ingredients in a pitcher and blend well with a whisk or a hand blender. Serve over ice. |
