Men in Aprons, the Podcast

Introducing the Men in Aprons podcast, an exciting new way to get all the good Men in Aprons information and entertainment. After getting turned on to podcasting a few months ago, I found that most food and cooking podcasts are very dry and boring. Most of them sound like NPR, and the others are about homebrewing or coffee. What the medium needs is a program that can combine the love of cooking, the entertainment of the back and forth argument of the great shows like Dawn and Drew and Keith and the Girl; interviews, music, and a whole lot more.

If you are new to podcasting, let me run it down for you really quick. A podcast is an audio program recorded by individuals for distribution over the world wide web. And that's what I've done.

You do not need an iPod to listen to a podcast. You don't even need any type of portable mp3 player to do it either. All you need is your computer and an application that can play mp3 files, like Windows Media Player, QuickTime, or Apple's iTunes. All a free downloads from their respective sites.

That's about where I'll leave it. The rise of this medium and the implications to the recording industry are huge. But let's leave that kind of talk for Adam Curry on the Daily Source Code.

I really hope you enjoy the program. I had a lot of fun putting it together and I really look forward to recording more. Click the graphic above to be taken to the Men in Aprons Podcast homepage.
