Think About the Future

I have a very difficult time gauging the response to this site, as many folks who visit rarely, if ever, make a comment. When I have asked folks directly about it, they alway give me positive feedback, but most of those readers I know personally.

The reason I am meandering on this way is that I am considering starting my own podcast for Men In Aprons, and I was looking for some feedback on that idea. OK, if you don't know what a podcast is, then I probably don't need your feedback as this really affects those people who know what one is and would listen to it.

A definition of podcast can be found here. That definition is a very geeky way to explain it. Just think of podcasting as an independent audio recording that anyone can make and anyone can publish on the internet which can be listened to by anyone with the software to do it. The great thing about podcasting is that there are no rules or regulations set forth by the FCC regarding content, language, etc. There are no rules or regulations set forth by some faceless company about timeslots, advertisers, markets, etc. You say it, you record it, you broadcast it.

I really don't know why I'm asking this question. There are podcasts out there for people talking about their pubic hair. I suppose someone out there would listen to a dude talking about dudes cooking.

Look at that, I answered my own question.
