More Notes and Pimping

This may be the only time I do this, but I'd like to shout out to some of the Search Engine trawlers out there. This is very "diaryland" or teenie-bopper of me, but someone out there is finding this site by searching for "Men in Panties." Apparently, I wrote the word panties here, and that's how it happens. So, for the record, there are no men in panties here. Just aprons.

Along with the masculine panty wearing search strings, I get the most for "giada de laurentiis cleavage," of which I am very proud. The web doesn't have much in the way of pics for Giada. You'll have to watch her show on Food Network or buy her book, which is chock full of pictures of her in low-cut shirts. If you do buy that book and you do look at the pictures, perhaps you can answer me this question: what is her show about?

The Quest for the M.I.A. Podcast has begun and is now in full swing. I have officially moved my computer downstairs onto the kitchen table so that I can record in peace without all the internet distraction and the buzzing of the cooling packs from the other computers. However, upon testing my microphone (my itty-bitty microphone), I could hear the dang refrigerator in the background. Oh well, such is life.

I have the computer. I have the software. I have the server space and possibly the bandwidth, but I haven't yet learned about the RSS feed part of it all.

Also, I did a test recording, and I realized I say "like" and "you know" way too often. Not to mention, my test cast sounded like it belonged on NPR (those bastards).

Hot Sauce Blog just turned one year old recently, so go over and wish Nick a happy blog birthday. Interestingly enough, Men In Aprons is just about the same age, which gives me the idea to make a happy birthday entry here in a week or so.

Speaking of Hot Sauce Blog, I have posted a review on a local seasoning called Special Shit over at the HSB. Go check it out.
