Rice Pudding with Dark Chocolate Sauce
This is the most decadent thing I have made to date. The rice pudding is just the basic recipe that I posted a while back, excluding the raisins. In a small sauce pan, you heat up the dark chocolate chips and add some butter. Then you drizzle that into your pudding. Ingredients
Instructions In a medium saucepan, combine the rice, milk, 7 TBSP butter, vanilla, nutmeg and sugar. Bring the mixture up to a gentle simmer over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until the mixture is thick and pudding-like. Be careful not to scorch the bottom. In a separate saucepan, heat the chocolate, water, and butter over low heat and stir until the mixture is smooth and shiny. Add a couple of heaping spoonfuls of chocolate sauce to each bowl and stir it. Trackback URL: http://www.meninaprons.net/mt/mt-tb.cgi/138 |

I've always liked rice pudding but have never tried it as chocolate flavored. Interesting. I must give it a try. It really does look good.
