Matt's Pit Master BBQ Rub

Sara Ward of Big Daddy Jakes informed me that they have been working on Matt's rub for 4 years now and have finally perfected the recipe. Personally, I'm really looking forward to this BBQ rub. Everything that's ever come from BDJ has been top quality. They don't fool around in Victoria, and they certainly don't rush products through manufacturing without making sure they're perfect. BBQ in our family is very serious business. You must learn the proper skills and techniques to operate the “pit” these talents are specific and mandatory for true Texas Smoked Barbeque. Matt began his “apprenticeship” at the very young age of 15, studying under the guidance of Pappo. After 15 years of free labor and tutelage he graduated to “journeyman”. Fast forward another 15 years and he became our official “Pit Master.”
Now that's the kind of thinking that I can appreciate. Being a native Texan, I take my barbeque just as seriously, and would love to one day be deemd a Pit Master. Trackback URL: http://www.meninaprons.net/mt/mt-tb.cgi/140 |
