Easter Ham
Posted on April 18, 2006 by adam
Category: Editorial Listen now. Listen up, and hear me good. If you know me, then you know my affinity for ham. I love ham. And I don't mean no shaved ham from the deli or chopped pressed formed ham that comes in small sizes in shrinkwrap. No. I love ham ... RIGHTONTHEBONE! My family knows full well that I get really grumpy when Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners do not include the ham. Recently, after two years of no ham on the major holidays, I made it perfectly clear that I would make people's lives hell if I didn't get ham. And did they get me ham? Yes, they did. I think they were sick of my whining. That said, I present you this:
You can see my two hands glazing the ham with my Jack Daniel's Ham Glaze at my folks house in Dallas. We used Jim Beam, since my father is a Bourbon guy, but it worked just as good. And so good it was ..... so delicious. |
