BBQ PeanutsCame across a cool recipe for BBQ peanuts. OK, so you don't actually barbeque peanuts on a grill, but I think it fits well within in the theme of this site. I have decided to reproduce the recipe here because something was going on at Recepzaar that I didn't like. They put a huge chunk of ads in between the ingredients and the instructions. I've read a lot of contextual ad optimization lately, and I know that it can boost revenue by putting ads very near content. However, that is too close and too much. Just know that I would never visually interfere with you reading a recipe here or on Men in Aprons. Dammit, I just realized the instructions suck. They totally go against my recipe principles. So I am going to reorder them in a more logical manner. Ingredients Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large bowl, combine the barbecue sauce, butter, garlic powder and cayenne.Add peanuts; stir until evenly coated. Transfer to a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan. Bake, uncovered for 25-30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.Spread on waxed paper; cool completely. Store in airtight container. Recipe from Recipezaar. |
