What in the Heck? #11
Posted on March 3, 2006 by adam
Category: What The Heck? It's BACK! Just what in the heck could it possibly be? Everyone's favorite contest where YOU can win a free bottle of Big Daddy Jake's Texas Pit Smoked Hot Sauce. So far, I've given away 7 of these bottles and Big Daddy Jake's has promised more and more, possibly even some of their Babeque sauce. So keep it tuned right here to Men in Aprons for free stuff. Of course that free stuff comes at a price ... your knowledge. Or resourcefulness. Which brings us to this item:
I am looking for the specific name of the item, and Mortar and Pestle won't do. Your clue is that the name is not in English. So just what in the Heck is it? Post a comment on this entry to post your guess. The ShovelMonkey wins it! Good old Brady wins a FREE bottle of hot sauce. This object is a Molcajete, a Mexican type of mortar and pestle. These tend to be made of volcanic rock and are very porous. It takes a long time towear down the inside.
