This is a basic Margarita on the Rocks using top shelf alcohol. Tequila and Triple Sec tend to ride right along with price when it comes to quality. In other words, you get what you pay for. The higher-priced tequilas generally are of higher-quality than the others.
Ingredients
- 2 oz. Cabo Wabo (or other) Tequila
- 1 oz. Grand Marnier Liqueur
- 3 oz. Margarita Mixer
- 1 Squeeze of Lime Juice
- Ice
In a shaker, add all ingredients. Shake well and pour all into a glass rimmed with salt. In Texas, we drink our 'ritas with salt and pretty much consider you a yankee if you don't.
